To a best friend, a support person that was always supportive unconditionally. Dear Harry you left so early and so suddenly. I cannot believe that a friend that I know for 30 years and see him 5 days a week in recent years is gone. Rest in Peace buddy and God bless you families. Never forget your kindness.

Dear Harry, Thank you for the good times and memories. Team Kings Cross and Goulburn Street will never forget you. Rest in Paradaise, my friend…
To our dear cousin Harry. You were always there, calm and softly spoken, amongst the rest of us, very loud Georgakopoulos relatives!
A very strong member of our family. I will always remember coming to Sydney and seeing you all as a kid, my Father Con and Mother Judy adored you.
Your engagement to Liz was an awesome party which was a highlight of my childhood and your wedding was like a fairy tale.
Your daughters were so blessed to have such a supportive wonderful father and friend.
You will be very very missed by us. All our love, cousin Emilie, Johnny, George and Ioulia. Xx
My sincere and deepest condolences to Harry’s beautiful family
A loved Husband, Father/Law , Grandfather, Brother and Son

My sincere condolences to Liz, Alex and Anthea, and their extended family. I first met Harry in 1998 in Burwood Fujitsu. He took me under his wing like a loving big brother. He was kind, gentle, supportive and always had your back. I remember the nights scrapbooking with you ladies back in those early days. I am sorry to hear of that gentle man’s passing. May he rest in peace, and you all find strength in his love for you. Leonie xx
A small group of us young boys use to knock about together back in the 80′, and had such great times. Harry was always the ideas ‘Go To’ for something to do.
He’d always come up with plans to have a great time and enjoy the night (or day).
His Datson 180b was his baby, and we all cruised around in our hotted up cars – Harry loved it.
Good bye buddy and friend. Although we didn’t keep in contact over the years, we finally caught up briefly not too long ago on F’book.
I’ve always had you in my thoughts over the years, and will still reminisce our fun times as mates. Especially on one NYE, where Harry revved that little Datson on redline, banging on the horn and sweat pouring from his forehead in celebration 😊. RIP friend , Yasu x
I met Harry through work about 16 years ago, when he attended a two-week datacenter storage training session that I was delivering. Over the two weeks I got to know him a little bit, as apart from technology, we also discovered we share a common interest in astronomy and astrophotography.
I remember him as a soft spoken, unjudgmental thinker, with a keen eye for nuance, and a demeanor of a true gentlemen. He was the kind of person that felt good to be around.
A couple of years later he reached out to me and we visited a famous astrophotographer’s talk together. It felt great catching up again, and we were lively discussing many aspects of the universe, its beauty and mystery…
Unfortunately this was the last time I saw him, as I have gradually neglected astrophotography, and we lost touch.
More than 10 years have passed, and only a few days ago I have felt a sudden drive to get back into it. Somehow I luckily managed to capture some evoking shots. I had an urge to share these impressions with a kindred spirit, and even though it has been so many years, I thought of Harry. When I looked him up, my knees cut off upon seeing the terrible news – and that the funeral has just passed.
I only got to briefly know Harry, but enough to feel that he was a kind and beautiful soul.
Fly with the stars and galaxies dear friend, your light ever brightening the hearts of your closest ones and everyone else that had the honour to meet you.
