Marina Zachariou

I’ve known Marina since she and her sister Alshone transferred from the Coogee Bowling Club to join Randwick Women’s Bowling Club. From the moment she arrived, Marina brought so much energy, laughter, and positivity to the club. She loved playing lawn bowls and had an incredible backhand. I’ll never forget when our ladies pennant team won the regional event that led us to the final in Foster. Marina joined us as our manager, and she took care of us like a mother, ensuring we were all well looked after.

During our stay, I shared a room with Marina. That night, we shared personal stories and talked about our lives. We discovered we had a lot in common, especially the fact that we both had beautiful and caring children. Marina truly was a lovely lady, and her presence left a lasting impression on all of us.”
